The Fox Hotel - Bristol

We had twin room to ourselves with hot chocolate. There were a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and refrigerators in the room too. A short walk to the train station, the location was marvellous and excellent, in a calm area. Besides, the hotel was 3 km away from a lawned square.

The location offered was peaceful and handy not far from the pubs, and the Bristol city centre.

Super chill vibe but no breakfast

We stayed for 2 nights in a standard twin room, and the staff were really friendly, awesome. The bar area was cool for drinks, but we didn't get any breakfast since it was Friday and Saturday. Kinda wish that was included. Just a heads up for all you early morning peeps out there!

The place has a nice vibe with cozy hangout spots and a cool little bar that made our evenings fun. We enjoyed live music both nights, which really brought the atmosphere to life. Just a heads-up, the shared bathroom could use some TLC, but it didn't ruin our good time! 🎶

I had a fantastic stay with roomy, clean accommodations and a delightful breakfast served with quality ingredients! The friendly atmosphere made it feel like home, and the overall experience was superb.

It was disappointing that the cafe was closed during the visit, and I would have loved to try some of the enticing food from the photos. The shared bathroom situation could be a concern for some, although it didn't impact me much.

During my stay, I appreciated the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room, which created a very comfortable atmosphere. The bar area was welcoming, and the staff were truly friendly, making me feel right at home. I would have preferred a bit more privacy in the shared shower facilities.

The Fox had a fab bar area where we cracked open a few cold ones with the friendly owners-proper legends! And the location near takeaways like Slim Chickens was a lifesaver! Can't forget the clean, comfy digs. Reminded me of home after a long day!

Now, the live bands were a bit of a bother, playing ear-splitting tunes till late-be warned if you're a light sleeper! Plus, communal bathrooms felt a tad basic for the price, could use a touch more privacy.

The Fox offers a cute bar area with friendly hosts. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness and spaciousness of my room, along with easy access to ample tea and coffee supplies.

Improved shower privacy would enhance comfort.

easy walks to bristol's churches and the water's edge

I stayed for three nights and loved the fact that I could easily stroll to St Mary Redcliffe Church and the M Shed. The staff was friendly and helpful, particularly one gentleman.

100% recommend for a weekend pause

Comfortable twin room, excellent welcome drink, with plenty of water bottles and snacks awaiting us, making our stay good and convenient for exploring the nearby area just 12 km from the airport.

Not a single complaint.

I had a great experience at this place and would happily stay here again.

Decent Stay With Room for Improvement

Our short stay had highs and lows. The room was quirky but slanted, made for some interesting challenges. The absence of a TV remote was disappointing.

The cafe offered a wide range of breakfast options, the location was fantastic, with spacious and affordable rooms, and conveniently close to the city center.
